Primary Responsibilities:


  • Review and assess Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other technical publications from OEMs and aviation authorities (EASA, FAA, CAAP) for applicability to the company’s aircraft operations; issue corresponding in-house publications such as Engineering Orders and Service Letters.
  • Coordinate with aircraft and component manufacturers to address malfunctions not covered in approved manuals and ensure appropriate technical resolution.
  • Support the development and enhancement of maintenance programs for aircraft systems, focusing on improving operational performance, dispatch reliability, and component efficiency.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and approve aircraft system modifications and part upgrades that offer technical and economic benefits to the fleet.
  • Monitor fleet and component reliability in collaboration with the Reliability Team; lead investigations and implement corrective actions, including spare level recommendations to maintain uninterrupted operations.


Qualifications:


  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or any related engineering discipline
  • Preferably with 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in aircraft systems engineering
  • Licensed Aeronautical Engineer or holder of a valid PRC license is an advantage
  • Strong technical knowledge of aircraft airframe systems and their associated maintenance requirements
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying technical manuals, airworthiness directives, and regulatory standards from aviation authorities such as EASA, FAA, and CAA
  • Must have a valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines
